Retreat, Rejuvenate,and Relax in our beautiful cottage on Salt Spring Island. A Cottage Bed and Breakfast at the end of a quiet country lane surrounded by walking trails that lead to stunning views and ocean trails and a forested ridge on Salt Spring. Breakfast foods available for you to prepare at your own leisure makes this an ideal self-catered Bed and Breakfast.
 It comfortably sleeps 5 as there are 2 queen size beds, one in the loft and one in the bedroom on the main level. There is also a twin size bed.  It's a home away from home with everything you could need or want to live comfortably.

Full kitchen available, with all you need to prepare meals, drinks and wash up. Big BBQ, Full Bath,Laundry facilities ( only for those staying  a week or longer ),  and a woodstove, as well as heated concrete floors makes this a very comfortable, warm and cozy stay. 

(Wi Fi) Internet service provided and 40'' flat screen TV with a DVD player. Sorry, we do NOT have satellite or cable. BUT, with WiFi you may wish to bring your laptop and cable to plug into our T.V and use your own Netflix account. Stereo with surround sound and c.d's also provided.

Private with brand new quality construction and carpentry makes this cottage very warm and very quiet and very attractive. A great bed and breakfast for families, couples or artists/writers wishing to retreat , heal or find a romantic hideaway. Serenity and peace are easily manifested here! Surrounded by gardens and  forest, deer and other wildlife, this is a perfect retreat.

...Healing spa services ( Massage and Cranio-Sacral Therapy) also located on the property. It is recommended to pre-book these services. Please ask Sheridan at the time of booking about these treatments if you are interested, and she can give you more details and book you in if so desired...

A 15 min walk down the road gets you to a small, but privately located public beach as well as a farm which sells produce ( in season), eggs, lamb and chicken. A 2 min walk gets you to trails (with stunning ocean and island vista's) just outside your door! It's a 10 min drive to Ganges, the main town center on Salt Spring Island. There are also a number of studios in the area if you're interested in seeing the arts and crafts the island has to offer. One of our closest neighbors being the well known BLUE HORSE STUDIO as well as Diana Dean's Fine Art studio and Burton Bronze Foundry are also located on this country lane. There are many farmstands on Salt Spring Island. The famous Saturday Market runs from April till October, and on Tuesdays you can find a farmers market in the park. There are also many delicious restaurants to try, galleries to peruse, and entertainment shows to see at Artspring. With Nature and culture galore, you will find a wonderful vacation awaits and serenity can be found here at Cedarwood Cottage!

"Peace, tranquility, beauty, absolute quiet and the best sleep of your life await you in your own home away from home. This is a self-catered style bed and breakfast (my personal preference as I personally don't want to eat breakfast in someone else's kitchen, but prefer to cook my own meals in my own space) and oh, what a space it is! The attention to detail in the building of this cottage is something of a marvel. The cottage boasts such unique features as heated concrete floors, raw wood edging (including a tree trunk pillar up to the 2nd floor), an open concept-style second floor bedroom that overlooks a kitchen with concrete counter tops and a living room area with a wood burning oven. The landscaping around the cottage is spectacular..clearly someone has a green thumb and there are trails and walking paths in abundance. This is the perfect getaway without spending a ton of money. To top it all off the owner (Sheridan) happens to do massage treatments and can include this in your personal package, if requested (oh yes!)
